The 2nd level Master Degree course in “Emerging technologies for construction (ETeC)” aims at forming experts in new technologies for construction, with special attention to new structural materials, retrofit and upgrading of existing constructions (also of historical/monumental interest), innovative systems of structural response control, new monitoring and diagnostic technologies, advanced technologies for foundation and excavation engineering, seismic geotechnical engineering and wind engineering.

 

Master ETeC is a collaborative effort among the Department of Structures for Engineering and Architecture of the University of Naples Federico II, the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of University of California, Berkeley (USA), the Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering of the Missouri University of Science and Technologies, Rolla (USA) and the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (India).

 

All EU citizens holding a Degree certificate in  Architecture, Building/Civil/Environmental Engineering, Construction Management/Construction Systhems Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Biomedical/Chemical/Electrical/Management/Mechanical/Marine/Mathematical-physical Modeling for Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Safety Engineering are eligible to apply. Non-EU citizens holding the above qualifications can also apply. In this case, the Selection Committee will have to evaluate the study qualifications submitted in order to admit the candidates. Admission of non-EU citizens is subjected to Italian immigration rules. Normally a long-term National Visa for study reasons is required.

Tuition fees: €3.000,00 (tuition waiver and scholarships, for total or partial coverage of the expenses during the period of study or training abroad, are available from Campania Region (Master Around Program) and/or from other sponsor Institutions/Industries/companies)
